One of the many special aspects of shopping at farmers' markets is getting to know the farmers and vendors that work so hard to bring their beautiful offerings to market. Our farmers and producers are truly passionate about bringing you the best, freshest local food available and each has a unique story to tell.
We have compiled some brief profiles to introduce you to some of our vendors. We will be adding to them as we and our farmers find the time.
Here at 7th Heaven Spices we have been creating spice blends for over 15 years. It began in our kitchen making blends for just our family and friends. That is how it all got started. From there, we attended craft shows, trade shows, local events, and agricultural fairs in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. Here in the lowcountry, we specialize in wholesale spice blends to restaurants, but our blends are offered to the public through our shopping cart. We are delighted to be a participant at the Farmers Market in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Fili-West Farms is a Pasture-Raised Poultry farm in the Lowcountry of Vance, South Carolina. Farm owners Nathan and Ghie Boggs are young and intrepid and so is their farm. Established in 2010, Fili-West Farms came into being after Nathan read Joel Salatin's books "You Can Farm" and "Pastured Poultry Profits". Inspired, Nathan decided he wanted to become a farmer in order to be a part of the solution rather than settle for the status quo. Fortunately for Nathan, he married a second-generation farmer from the Philippines who was receptive to the idea of starting a farm of their own. They've since become one of the Southeast's premier designers/builders of hot climate chicken tractors. The couple currently produce Pasture-Raised Poultry for Chicken, Turkey, and Eggs. They hope to bring Sheep into the mix in the near future in order to help meet the local demand for Lamb.

We started selling our cookies in a retail establishment we had on Hilton Head in 1994. We were so successful with the retail sales that in 1995 we decided to test market our product on a wholesale level. We started in South Carolina and North Carolina and moved forward from there. We now distribute our cookie dough from Philadelphia PA to Miami FL and as far west as Portland OR.

Sprout Momma began in a home kitchen as a way for Kim Tavino to better nurture her family with healthy grains and fresh ingredients. Kim’s son, Ryan Fennessey, a baker and chef, soon joined the business. Together, they specialize in custom, artisanal bread that combines King Arthur flour, Sprouted Ancient Grain, Sprouted Whole Wheat, vegetables and fruits — organic when possible — sourcing from local markets and farmers.
